Conclusion: As for the returned unit, the head main board needs to be replaced. Also, a cleaning of the optical system and readjustment of optical axis is required. The main board was replaced, the system cleaned and optical system readjusted by Keyence on 12/27/2018. System has not been used since repaired and cleaned.
