The Coherent laser when not connected to the scriber appears to be working however when attached to scriber shows interlock error and shutter open. This unitneedstwo vacuum pumps that are NOT included. It is possible that the scriber needs both of the missing vacuum pumps to bypass the errors. Laser has no errors when operated independently from the scriber. Opto Systems offers exceptional support for the scriber but does not support the laser (they will service it for $7500). Coherent still supports the power supply but not the Laser Head. Scriber displays: Ring VAC Error, Laser Not Ready, and Auto Interlock Disable Errors. See pictures for more detail.
